500+ hr Masters Meridian Yoga Teacher Training
Course Overview
This course will teach you how to be an amazing yoga teacher. By combining both western and eastern frameworks, we will show you how to confidently assess client needs and develop and teach personalised classes that get results. Along the way, you will enhance and extend your personal yogic abilities and knowledge. This will provide you with a great depth of knowledge so that you will be a confident and effective yoga teacher.
You will be learning from a highly qualified and extremely experienced teacher who will share over 25 years of experience and professional education. Your learning will be focused around a framework that is both practical and outcome-based, and you will be practicing teaching from the very first face-to-face workshop in a safe and supportive environment. With a mix of online content, video demonstrations, interactive and face-to-face workshops, and a 3-day retreat you will cover theory, anatomy & physiology, applied meridians and applied postures along with all the essential foundational skills to start and run your own yoga business.
This course covers not just the basic yoga teacher training, but focuses on six oriental influences, bringing together western and eastern frameworks and applying them specifically to yoga moves. You will view yoga through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine and in particular the meridians. This will give you superior knowledge about the functioning of the human body and enable you to assess your client's needs and develop, write, sequence, and teach personalised yoga classes that will set you up for success in your business. You will be able to differentiate yourself from other competitors in the industry and your overall knowledge of yoga poses, sequences and class development will be greater and achieve better results, not just for you but for your own clients.
You will be supervised and mentored all the way through the course. The student portal is easy, time efficient and comprehensive. You will get structured class plans and guidelines that are tried and proven plus all the templates to construct your own classes. You will be able to build your own resources and notes that you can add to throughout your career. Your assessments are designed to build confidence, skills and knowledge and are completed throughout the course with a final celebration graduation that you can share with the friends you have made during the course.
